614 Torrington – Progress Continues

So much has happened in the past couple weeks, let’s bring you up to speed.

This is what is meant when you hear “down to the studs”.  All the paneling is gone, so we are left with open framing.  Not really any surprises but get a look at the spaghetti in the laundry for the plumbing work-around!  Opening it up makes the work of all the other trades much easier — the electrician can run all new conduit for electrical, plumber can rework all the water lines, and the flooring guys won’t damage anything when they do their thing.

Another interesting Eichler construction note, see the photo of the original gray ceiling stain that dripped down the cross beam.

And now all of the original tiles (containing some asbestos) have been removed and disposed of per EPA standards.
